Andy Levy is Professor of Endocrinology and Hon Consultant Physician at Bristol University and United Bristol Healthcare Trust, Bristol, UK. For over a decade he has been closely involved in undergraduate teaching and the design and organization of the Final MBChB exams.
As many commercial manikins are expensive and unrealistic, he has designed and built a series of manikins to allow the specific skills outlined in the General Medical Council’s document ‘Tomorrow’s doctors’ (publications@gmc-uk.org) to be addressed.
